What was it like planning and prepping for school after graduation? 

I constantly met with my school counselor regarding any scholarships and recommendation letters I might need. I also attended Get2College ACT workshops to get my ACT score up for scholarships.

If you could go back and tell 17-year-old you anything about school and career, what would it be?

Keep the fire burning; there is always more work to be done in education.

What’s your favorite thing about where you are now?

I love studying student affairs in my master’s program. I enjoy everything – from spending time with college students to learning more about my university to becoming familiar with theories.
