Get2College Reinstates Advisory Council to Strengthen Statewide Impact

New council brings diverse voices together to strengthen college access program development across Mississippi.

We’re proud to announce the reinstatement of the Get2College Advisory Council, a group of nine dynamic leaders from across Mississippi who will help shape the future of our work. As a program of the Woodward Hines Education Foundation, Get2College is committed to expanding equitable access to postsecondary education—and this council will play a critical role in guiding that mission forward.

The Advisory Council will provide strategic insight and feedback on programs, services, and communications, helping ensure our work remains responsive to student, school, and community needs across the state. Members bring diverse perspectives from education, business, government, and nonprofit sectors, all united by a shared commitment to student success.

The Council’s first meeting will take place on July 17 at the Jackson Get2College Center. We are excited to welcome these passionate advocates into this advisory role and are confident their leadership will enhance our impact statewide.

Members of the 2025–2027 Get2College Advisory Council include:

  • Jennifer Hall, School Counselor, Greenville High School
  • Abiola Ayanfalu, Career Coach, Petal High School
  • Lori Prather, Work Based Learning Coordinator, Clinton High School Career and Technical Education Center
  • Jamie Missimer, Director of Financial Aid, Pearl River Community College
