Aura Neely-Gary Memorial Scholarship Fund
Amount: $2,000
Recipients: student planning to enter college or university in Mississippi
Details: preference given to students who desire to resume education following a period of personal difficulty, special consideration given to young women who dropped out of school

Central Mississippi Ole Miss Rebel Club Scholarship
Amount: $1,000 for freshmen year tuition and expenses at The University of Mississippi
Deadline: March
Recipients: graduating seniors in Copiah, Hinds, Leake, Madison, Rankin, Scott, Simpson, and Yazoo Counties
Details: Students must have B average, 21-28 ACT, and demonstrated leadership in school, church, and community

Charles “Chuck” E. Griffin, Jr. Endowed Memorial Scholarship Fund
Award: $2,000
Recipients: graduating student at Jim Hill High School
Details: plans to attend a four year institution

Dave Cannada Memorial Fund Scholarship
Award: Two for $5000 awarded in 2015
Recipients: students graduating from Murrah High School who plan to attend a four-year college in Mississippi
Details: cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, ACT score of at least 25 and demonstrated strong leadership skills through athletics, church or ministry involvement, civic endeavors and/or student government.

Harrison Clark Scholarship Awards Fund
Award: $1,000
Recipients: Madison Central High School seniors
Details: merit based; minimum GPA of 2.75 and score in at least the 60th percentile on college entrance examinations. Special consideration is given to participants in the Madison Central Band, but not required. Applicants must plan to attend a two or four year college on a full time basis.

Rankin County School District Foundation Scholarship
Award: $1,000

Recipients: senior in Rankin County School District

Rick Ross Madison Avenue Upper Elementary Honorary Scholarship
Award: two of $2,000 each in 2015
Recipients: attended all years of school in the Madison County School District with the 3rd through the 5th grade exclusively at Madison Avenue Upper Elementary
Details: 2.33 or better grade average, 60 percentile or better on the ACT or SAT, and a written essay. Recipients are also required to attend a trade school, college or university in Mississippi. Preference will be given to students who otherwise have little or no other scholarship funds available to them. Students who have shown above average achievement; who are active in the various clubs, activities, and organizations of Madison Central; and who may have limited opportunities are eligible

Robert E. Luckett Memorial Scholarship Fund
Award: two at $500 each in 2015
Recipients: graduates of Richland High School
Details: based on a combination of merit, need and teacher recommendation

Rotary Club of Jackson Scholarship
Award: $4,000 for 4 years
Deadline: March 15, 2017
Recipients: high school seniors in Hinds, Madison, and Rankin Counties
Details: student leaders with financial need: graduating senior who plans to attend college in Mississippi, ACT score of 18 or higher, high school average of B or higher, household income of $60,000 or less

Ryan Kirkpatrick Memorial Scholarship Fund
Amount: $1,350 in 2015
Recipients: graduates of Madison Central High School
Details: strong interest in the natural sciences and submit an essay on the natural world; 2.50 minimum GPA is required
