GEAR UP Mississippi
In partnership with Mississippi State University, Get2College provides direct service to high school counselors, teachers, students, and parents in McComb, Meridian, and Greenville school districts. In order to cultivate a college-going culture, Get2College provides ongoing professional development to school counselors and teachers. For students, Get2College provides students with hands-on FAFSA completion assistance and free ACT prep. Get2College also hosts in-school events that encourage postsecondary education.
MS Delta GEAR UP
The MS Delta GEAR UP partnership grant is a collaboration between the Woodward Hines Education Foundation, the Foundation for the Mid-South, Casey Family Programs, local school districts, and Delta State University. Delta Gear UP will support 2,700 students in the following school districts: Cleveland Public School District, Greenville Public School District, Greenwood Leflore School District, Hollandale School District, Holmes School District, Leland Public School District, MS Achievement School District, North Bolivar School District, & Western Line School District.
