This workshop is designed to provide training to individuals assisting students and families with completing the FAFSA. This course will be a 101 overview of the information needed to understand how to correctly advise students on completing their FAFSA application.
.5 CEUs will be available to participants who attend the live training and complete the eLearning modules. Participants will cover their own costs for the CEUs through Mississippi Christian University.

*NEW* In Person Full-Day FAFSA 101 + 201 Training
This full-day workshop combines our FAFSA 101 and FAFSA 201 trainings into one comprehensive learning experience focused on the 2027–28 FAFSA.
FAFSA 101 provides a foundational overview of the FAFSA process and how to effectively support students and families in completing their application. FAFSA 201 builds on that foundation with a deeper dive into more complex topics, including assets, family size, and supporting specific student populations.
Participants may attend FAFSA 101 (10:00 am – 12:30 pm), FAFSA 201 (1:00 pm – 3:00 pm), or both sessions. Each session is independent; attending both is not required but encouraged.
Grab-and-go lunches will be provided, and 0.5 CEUs will be awarded to participants who attend both sessions and complete the full-day training.
