College & Career Readiness Training

As a part of the Mississippi Diploma endorsement options, the College and Career Readiness course will be a required course for the class of 2021-2022. Registration is now open for high schools wishing to learn more at a virtual training about how to implement the College and Career Readiness Course in the 2021-2022 school year.

The course does not require a specific teacher endorsement; however, high schools are encouraged to send at least one teacher and one counselor to a training.

A draft copy of the College and Career Readiness curriculum is located on the MDE Secondary Education webpage, online at https://www.mdek12.org/ese/College-and-Career-Readiness.

Please direct additional questions concerning the College and Career Readiness Course to Heather Morrison at hmorrison@mississippi.edu.

All College & Career Readiness Training sessions will take place virtually, and the same material is covered at each training.
