Make the most of your summer.

Under the guidance of our Get2College counselors, upcoming seniors explore the college admission process to prepare for what's to come, including college timelines, choosing the right fit, college and financial aid applications, and much, much more. The highlight – tours of Mississippi community colleges and universities! The best part — camps are 100% free, including meals, swag, and fun.

Camp College is a free summer program for upcoming high school seniors who want to get a head start on their senior year! Students will gain countless resources on how to plan and pay for college after high school graduation, including college essay workshops, assistance in completing college application(s), financial aid and scholarship information, and college campus visits.

Camp College is held in each of our three center locations: Jackson, Southaven (North MS), and Ocean Springs (Gulf Coast). Students who are accepted are expected to attend all days of Camp College.

The application forms for Camp College 2024 will be open from April 1st through April 29, 2024. Students who apply are notified (via email) shortly after the application closing date.

For Camp College, students must qualify for one or more of the following:

  • Free or reduced lunch
  • First in his/her/their family to attend college
  • Identify as a minority student

Mark your calendar. Set an alarm. Get ready to take your Mississippi summer to the next level.

Daniela Griffin, Get2College North MS Center Director

"Information is power. And we know that many high school students lack the critical access to information to guide them through the college process that will ultimately lead them to a career. Every element of Camp College is designed with those things in mind."

Hezekiah Williams, Former Camp College Student

"As a part of Camp College, I was able to visit two college campuses—the University of Mississippi and Mississippi State University—where we stayed in the dorms and were introduced to college life. Camp College was awesome! I learned a lot and had fun while doing it."
