Our Get2College Centers offer a variety of free information and college planning services to help Mississippi’s high school students get to college. The Centers offer a friendly environment where both students and parents can come to learn more about what it takes to get in and pay for college. Professional counselors become your college coach, assisting with ACT preparation, completing admissions and financial aid applications, resume building, college selection, essay writing and more!

Virtual Learning Workshops – No time to visit one of our centers? No problem! Register for live webinar workshops throughout the school year and the summer get answers about college readiness for high school students.
College Timeline – Together we will develop a timeline for college planning to include applications for scholarships, admission, and financial aid.
ACT Preparation – Choose from a variety of options including workshops and online interactive test prep to improve your scores. The workshops are for high school grades 10-12 and adults.
College Search – Confused about where to go to college? We will help you find colleges that provide the right fit for you and assist you with completing application forms.
Resume Writing – During this session, we will guide you as you format your high school or college resume. These are often required for scholarships and college admission.
Financial Aid and Scholarships – Learn about different types of need-based and non need-based aid, including federal and state grants, student loans, work study, and merit-based scholarships from your college, and the deadlines for each.
FAFSA, State, and Other Financial Aid Applications – Whether you are renewing or filing for the first time, let us guide you through the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), the Mississippi Office of Student Financial Aid application, and institutional aid applications.
Boot Camp and Camp College – Don’t let the summer melt away! These seasonal programs are designed for rising high school students to start thinking about the college process while exposing them to campus life, the financial aid process and much more.
Interviewing Skills – Let us prepare you for your scholarship, honors college, or admissions interview. We’ll give you a heads-up on what to expect and the best way to prepare. We’ll follow up with a mock interview to make sure you’ve got it down.
