Born and raised in Prentiss, MS. In 2003, he moved to Starkville, MS to begin his college career at Mississippi State University. After graduation, he spent 5 more years of his life in Starkville to work for MSU.
Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Mississippi State University
Master of Science in Leadership from Belhaven University
Doctor of Education (Ed.D) in Higher Education from University of Mississippi
TJ loves to talk to large groups of students. Give him a microphone, and he’s ready to get students and parents excited about college! He truly believes it is his calling to shape the lives of young people throughout the state of MS.
“The Protector” He never had the chance to be a big brother because he is the last of 5 children. He takes every opportunity to “protect and serve” so count on him to take care of his North Mississippi students.
He’s a good ole country boy and enjoys the simple things in life. He has a passion for music and food; he’s a good singer and plays the bass guitar and thinks he’s the Iron Chef. (We kind of think that too!) In his spare time, you might find him lifting weights, snipping herbs from his mini garden, or doing yard work.
